9679683-74429 Job Description A Special Education Teacher with telehealth expertise is sought for a contract position in Coweta, OK, serving a school environment. This role focuses on delivering specialized educational support and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs through virtual platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs in accordance with student needs and educational standards. Serving as the case manager for special education students, coordinating services and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Providing specialized instruction and support using telehealth methods. Communicating effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and well-being. Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records related to special education services.

Qualifications and desired experience:

Certification and licensing as a Special Education Teacher. Proven experience working with special education students, preferably with IEP case management. Ability to deliver instruction and support through telehealth platforms. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, students, and educational staff. Familiarity with vocational special education (voco sped) services is advantageous. Commitment to working 25 hours per week under a contract arrangement.
