Job Description

Construction Manager - Mission‑Critical Infrastructure Role Summary We are seeking an experienced DC Construction Manager to support execution of a large, mission‑critical infrastructure build at a pre‑construction data center campus in Tulsa, OK . This on‑site role functions as an Owner's Representative , focused on contractor oversight, schedule execution, change management, and commissioning readiness. The role is execution‑driven and leadership‑focused, with success defined by strong communication, disciplined scope control, and experience operating at significant project scale.
Engagement:
12 months with strong potential for 18-24 month extension
Work Model:

Scale Construction Experience:
Projects valued at $250M+, multiple concurrent $100M+ projects, or sites with 500-600+ workers Mission‑
Critical or Critical Facilities Background :
Data centers preferred; comparable experience accepted (semiconductor, oil & gas, hospitals, airports, automotive)
Construction Management & Contractor Oversight:
Field execution, schedule coordination, RFIs, and change management
Commissioning Awareness:
Understands commissioning requirements and sequencing (does not own commissioning)
Strong Communicator & Collaborative Leader:
Operates respectfully within defined scope and governance Key Responsibilities Act as an Owner's Representative supporting scoped construction work Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure schedule, scope, and quality alignment Support RFIs, change orders, and field coordination Partner with commissioning teams to ensure readiness and turnover milestones Collaborate closely with on‑site engineers and project stakeholders Mission‑Critical Systems Awareness (Working Knowledge)
Electrical Systems:
Medium‑ and low‑voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems
Mechanical Systems:
Chillers, cooling towers, heat rejection systems, CRAHs/CRACs, piping and controls
Critical Infrastructure Concepts:
Redundancy models (N, N+1, 2N), reliability, maintainability, and resiliency requirements
Structural & Architectural Systems:
Structures and enclosures supporting critical environments Preferred Experience Data center or hyperscale infrastructure projects Owner's representative or client‑side construction roles Location & Experience Requirements On‑site in Tulsa, OK 10-15 years of construction management experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
