Mortgage Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mortgage Manager to lead our mortgage lending operations and deliver exceptional service to our members. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the mortgage department and assigned teams Lead, coach, and develop loan officers and processing staff to achieve performance goals Review and approve mortgage loan applications within delegated authority Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company lending regulations, including underwriting standards Monitor loan pipeline, productivity, and key performance metrics Develop and implement strategies to increase loan volume and profitability Resolve escalated client issues and manage complex loan situations Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, brokers, and strategic partners Analyze financial data, credit reports, and risk factors to support sound lending decisions Ensure adherence to all NCUA laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies to mitigate risk and uphold ethical standards Prepare and present performance reports and trend analysis to senior management Perform other duties as assigned Underwrite files Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred) OR Minimum of 5 years of experience in Credit Union mortgage lending At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience Strong knowledge of Credit Union underwriting guidelines and loan products Solid understanding of lending laws, regulatory compliance, and risk management Join us as a Mortgage Manager and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to empowering members through responsible lending.
