Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards on-site. The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Duties
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to crew members.
  • Assign tasks effectively based on crew member skills and project needs.
  • Build team morale and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Train and mentor crew members, developing their skills and providing guidance.
  • Resolve conflicts among crew members effectively.
  • Hold crew members accountable for performance and safety.
  • Maintain clear communication with crew and management.
  • Plan daily and weekly activities to meet project schedules.
  • Ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain expected production rates and efficiency.
  • Utilize labor, equipment, and materials effectively.
  • Identify field issues and implement solutions.
  • Adjust plans to accommodate changes and unforeseen conditions.
  • Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
  • Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Inspect work areas for hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Operate equipment as needed.
  • Track and report daily progress and activities.
  • Manage and maintain equipment.
  • Control on-site costs and operate within project budget constraints.
  • Maintain required regulatory and safety documentation.
  • Ensure the jobsite is fully set up and ready by 7:00 AM each day, including tool staging, equipment readiness, and review of daily tasks, so crew members can begin work immediately at shift start.
Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of construction processes. Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam, Primavera, and HeavyJob is highly desirable. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively. Knowledge of quality control practices and techniques in construction. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and contracts is essential. Understanding of pipeline construction processes is an advantage. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
