Role:

We're hiring a Dog Bather to join our dedicated team at our busy and reputable dog boarding and daycare facility! If you're passionate about working with dogs, have prior professional bathing experience, and take pride in a clean and compassionate work environment, we'd love to meet you. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in dog bathing, coat care, and customer communication, and is open to cross-training in other areas of the facility in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dog baths, including blow drying and brushing Trim nails, clean ears, anal gland expressions, and check/report on coat and skin conditions Handle timid, elderly, and difficult dogs with patience and care Speak professionally with pet parents about coat condition, dog behavior, and service recommendations Provide excellent documentation of each grooming session and be comfortable utilizing different apps (Gingr, Slack) to add information to pets' profiles and communicate with co-workers Maintain a clean and organized salon and bathing area at all times Work independently while managing time efficiently and completing daily bath appointments

What We're Looking For:

Prior professional bathing experience (highly preferred) A genuine love for dogs and understanding of basic dog behavior and handling Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently Strong communication and time management skills Comfort handling all types of dogs, including seniors and anxious pets A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn

Schedule:

Wednesday-Sunday from 8 am-5 pm. Additional hours available if willing to cross-train in other positions.

Compensation & Benefits:
