Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Tech. to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate between clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will be instrumental in managing project schedules, budgets, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures. Essential Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Oversee daily construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to avoid delays. Monitor project progress through site inspections, progress reports, and meetings; identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions. Manage communication among all stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve conflicts swiftly. Ensure adherence to safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits and promoting a culture of safety among workers. Review contractor submittals, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information) to maintain project integrity. Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily logs, inspection reports, change orders, and project correspondence. Assist in resolving technical problems that arise during construction phases by providing engineering support and solutions. Support project closeout activities by verifying completion of work scope and preparing final documentation.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education. Proven experience as a Construction Project Engineer or similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety protocols, and building codes. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines. Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus. Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing solutions. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between project sites as needed.
