Job Description

Join our client's team in Eddystone, PA, as a Detailer/Project Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in drafting and detailing to produce precise placing drawings and plans for reinforcing steel bars. This position involves utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, including MicroStation and aSa, to ensure efficient material use and timely product delivery. You will work independently on assigned projects and collaborate with larger project teams, coordinating with the Engineering Manager to resolve issues and streamline detailing activities.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and Detailing :
Prepare placing plans using structural and architectural drawings.
Order Management :
Create bar lists and accessory orders aligned with project schedules.
Project Coordination :
Collaborate with fabrication personnel to ensure timely delivery.
Client Communication :
Address project details and resolve issues with customers.
Plan Revisions :
Update placing plans and drawings based on stakeholder requests.
Site Visits :
Occasionally travel to job sites to assist with problem resolution.
Documentation :
Initiate change forms and maintain comprehensive project files.
Qualifications:
Education :
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience :
Proficiency in reading construction plans is essential.
Technical Skills :
Demonstrated expertise with AutoCAD and aSa MicroStation.
