P.C. Curry Floor Covering INC is seeking an organized, dependable Office Manager to serve as a central administrative and financial resource for our construction office. This position supports the day-to-day business through Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll administration, vendor and subcontractor documentation, insurance compliance, and office recordkeeping. You will work closely with company leadership and a small office team in a busy, family-operated construction environment. The right person will be comfortable balancing recurring deadlines with the unexpected issues that come with supporting active construction operations. How You Will Make an
Impact:
Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows. Process and distribute routine payroll information and help ensure employee time is properly collected and accounted for. Review vendor invoices and maintain accurate supporting documentation. Assist with general ledger reconciliation and organized financial recordkeeping. Maintain subcontractor records and verify required insurance documentation and certificates of insurance. Coordinate insurance documentation required for active projects and contracts. Follow up with vendors and subcontractors regarding paperwork, invoices, and administrative requirements. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. Support contract-related administrative documentation. Handle regular phone, email, mail, and office correspondence. Complete occasional local errands such as trips to the bank or post office. Help improve office processes as the company continues to modernize its systems.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
3+ years of experience in office administration, accounting support, bookkeeping, or a related operational role. 1+ years experience working in a construction or trades related office Proven hands-on proficiency handling AP, AR, vendor invoicing, and general ledger reconciliation. Strong organizational skills with experience coordinating insurance compliance and subcontractor paperwork. Financial recordkeeping and reconciliation. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, or comparable accounting and spreadsheet systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines without losing track of routine responsibilities. Professional communication skills with vendors, subcontractors, employees, and company leadership. Comfort working in a fast-moving, blue-collar construction or trades environment. Ability to work independently and take ownership of recurring administrative processes.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in a construction, flooring, subcontracting, specialty-trade, or field-service office. Experience tracking certificates of insurance and subcontractor compliance. Familiarity with job-costing, construction accounting, or contractor-management systems. Experience helping a company transition to or improve a POS, ERP, project, or accounting platform. Familiarity with systems such as Project Force or similar industry software is helpful but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
