East Pikeland Township (Chester County) is accepting applications for a full-time Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: reviewing and issuing residential building permits, conducting inspections for compliance with building codes and zoning ordinances, responding to resident complaints and inquiries, resolving problems relative to compliance with Township ordinances, and managing the subdivision/land development process. Candidate must hold BCO certification and UCC certifications for residential construction. Demonstrated knowledge of IRC, IBC, and UCC codes, working knowledge of land development process, valid PA driver's license, and strong customer service skills are required. Candidates must have at least three years of experience working in building trades, code enforcement or a related area. Salary is commensurate with experience.
