Role Description The Field Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in York, PA, responsible for overseeing electrical field operations and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with local codes and company standards. This role coordinates daily activities for field crews, assigns tasks, and monitors progress on service upgrades, panel swaps, rewires, and related projects. The Field Supervisor conducts on-site inspections, verifies quality and safety, and acts as a primary point of contact for homeowners, business clients, and general contractors. Responsibilities include reviewing scope of work, organizing materials and equipment, resolving job-site issues, and documenting project status. The role also involves coaching and supporting technicians, enforcing safety procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement of field processes. Qualifications Electrical trade expertise, including experience with service and panel upgrades, meter separations, rewires, and residential/light commercial electrical systems. Field supervision and leadership skills, including crew coordination, task assignment, mentoring technicians, and managing multiple job sites. Project planning and organization abilities, including scheduling, materials planning, job sequencing, and documentation of progress and issues. Strong safety and compliance focus, with knowledge of NEC, local codes, and proven experience implementing job-site safety procedures. Effective communication and client service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with homeowners, business owners, general contractors, and team members. Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address unexpected field conditions, troubleshoot electrical issues, and keep projects on track. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites in York, PA and surrounding areas. Previous experience as a lead electrician, foreperson, or field supervisor; relevant certifications or journeyperson/master electrician license preferred.
