As a Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in coordinating our project teams, maintaining strong relationships with owners and partners, managing project schedules and costs, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and successfully. What You'll Do Manage all phases of assigned construction projects from turnover through closeout. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams. Coordinate project turnover meetings with the Estimator, Superintendent, and President. Develop and execute subcontracts and purchase orders. Provide Superintendents with the drawings, scopes, schedules, contracts, and cost information needed to successfully manage the jobsite. Coordinate pre-construction meetings with subcontractors and suppliers. Communicate daily with the Superintendent regarding project updates, changes, and clarifications. Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules while ensuring critical milestones and material deliveries stay on track. Manage the RFI and submittal process to help keep projects moving forward. Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress and support the project team. Assist with jobsite safety and ensure project requirements are being followed. Review job costs, labor hours, progress billings, and cost-to-complete reports. Identify, document, and communicate schedule delays and change orders. Lead weekly project meetings with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers. Maintain accurate project documentation and meeting minutes. Coordinate monthly progress billings and help maintain positive project cash flow. Manage project closeout, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and final documentation. Conduct closeout meetings and prepare final project reports. Support and mentor Project Engineers, helping them grow their construction knowledge and professional skills. You should have:
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field and 4 years of construction experience , or 10 years of related construction experience . Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team. A self-directed work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Customer service and interpersonal skills that allow you to work effectively with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
