$110-$145k/yr Responsibilities Manage commercial ground-up construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards are met. Oversee General Contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, conducting regular site visits (typically weekly or as needed) and leading project status meetings. Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and bid packages (RFPs), while coordinating contractor selection and procurement activities. Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve constructability issues, and proactively manage project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns. Review change orders, contractual revisions, contractor pay applications, and project documentation for accuracy and owner approval. Ensure compliance with building codes, municipal regulations, zoning requirements, and all applicable quality and safety standards. Resolve project issues, negotiate solutions with stakeholders, and maintain clear communication with owners, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements 10-15 years of commercial construction management experience, with a strong preference for ground-up construction projects over renovation-only experience. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Extensive knowledge of all phases of commercial construction, including field operations, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls. Proven experience managing General Contractors, subcontractors, and multiple project stakeholders. Ability and willingness to travel to project sites and be on-site approximately once per week or as project needs require. Strong understanding of building codes, permitting, municipal regulations, and construction contract administration. Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills with a strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. #
