About Us KB Painting & Refinishing LLC is Florida's premium painting and refinishing company , specializing in: Interior & exterior residential/commercial painting Cabinet & vanity refinishing Driveway, deck, and concrete coatings Flat-rate, warranty-backed packages Use of premium products like Benjamin Moore & Sherwin-Williams We're growing fast and need a results-driven Project Manager who can take ownership of multiple projects, maintain profitability, and deliver a 5-star customer experience every time. Position Overview The Project Manager (PM) is the backbone of jobsite efficiency and quality . You'll oversee painting projects from start to finish — managing crews, ensuring jobs run on schedule, controlling costs, and keeping clients happy. You must be highly organized, assertive, and detail-oriented , with strong leadership skills to manage subcontractor crews and maintain KB's high standards. Core Responsibilities Project Planning & Scheduling Schedule jobs within 48 hours of approval and assign crews at least 72 hours before start Coordinate labor, materials, and logistics to ensure smooth project launches Onboard and vet new subcontractor crews using SnapCoat CRM Jobsite Management Perform site visits, enforce prep and safety standards, monitor quality daily Upload before/during/after photos to CRM from company iPad Conduct daily progress reports and maintain OpenPhone communication with clients Quality Control & Client Satisfaction Perform final walkthroughs with clients and address punch list items within 48 hours Maintain a minimum 45% Gross Profit (GP) on jobs Collect reviews on Google/Facebook after completion Profitability & Upsells Control labor/material costs to protect margins Identify upsell opportunities and get them approved before execution Performance Metrics On-time project completion Minimum 45% GP margin per project Number of 5-star reviews collected Upsell revenue generated Crew efficiency & adherence to KB standards Compensation Structure (Subcontractor
  • Paid Weekly)
Base Commission:
3% of project total after completion & payment collection
GP Bonus:
1-3% additional based on GP margin achieved
Upsell Bonus:
3% of approved upsells sold
Review Bonus:
$20 per verified 5-star review
Low-Margin Penalty:
Deduction if GP falls below 45%
Earning Potential:

  • Minimum 2 years in painting, construction, or similar project management role, with a strong understanding of job costing, timelines, and crew oversight. Leadership Skills
  • Ability to motivate and manage multiple subcontractor crews while holding them accountable to KB Painting & Refinishing's quality and safety standards. Communication Excellence
  • Professional, confident communicator with clients, crews, and company management; must be comfortable delivering updates, managing expectations, and resolving concerns. Technical Proficiency
  • Capable of using CRM software (SnapCoat/DripJobs), scheduling tools, and company-issued iPad for photo documentation and reporting. Organization & Time Management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, maintain detailed daily records, and meet or exceed deadlines without sacrificing quality. Quality Control Focus
  • Must perform regular jobsite inspections, address workmanship issues immediately, and ensure projects pass final walkthroughs without callbacks. Profitability Mindset
  • Maintain a minimum 45% Gross Profit margin on all projects through efficient labor and material management. Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly on-site, from crew disputes to customer concerns, without delays. Physical Readiness
  • Must be able to visit job sites daily, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and carrying light equipment or materials. Reliability
