Full Job Description Summary:
Under the direction of the Account Manager, this position is responsible for performing Night Supervisor duties for client site as assigned in region. Quality customer service will be provided to the client at all times. The Site Supervisor will supervise work activities of janitorial personnel in commercial and industrial establishments. The Site Supervisor assigns duties, inspects work, and investigates complaints regarding janitorial services and takes corrective action. May purchase janitorial supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services. Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements. Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards. Reports to management on the status of all operational concerns. Records personnel data on specified forms. Recommends personnel actions, such as hires and discharges, to ensure proper staffing. Works with staff to resolve production and personnel problems. Trains workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment. Issues janitorial supplies and equipment to workers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services. Ensures training programs are implemented, tracked and verified. Attends safety and training sessions. Additional duties as assigned. Employee will conduct company business and work-related tasks at an onsite (Crisp Environments office) and/or offsite (remote) location. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to cleaning chemicals.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; and/or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Electronic Communication software.
