POSITION PURPOSE
Lead the daily operations of Camp NBCC, ensuring a safe, organized, Christ-centered program where campers are well cared for and staff are equipped to succeed.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Leadership:
Plan, execute, and oversee the daily program using our weekly curriculum, M2Ms, devotions, and field trips while ensuring safety, quality, staff performance and camp standards.
Staff Leadership:
Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and coach staff.
Child Safety & Behavior:
Maintain accurate camper rosters and oversee safety and behavior procedures.
Transportation:
Manage after-school and field trip routes, drivers, and vehicle readiness.
Facility Management:
Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and well-maintained site.
Supplies & Operations:
Maintain necessary program and snack supplies, equipment, and tshirts.
Scheduling:
Manage staff schedules and maintain hours within payroll constraints.
Ministry Leadership:
Model Christ-centered leadership and foster ministry among counselors and campers.
Overall Site Accountability:
Ensure the safe, organized, high-quality operation of Camp
NBCC. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma required; associate degree or relevant leadership experience preferred. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead staff and maintain accountability to camp standards. Genuine love for Jesus, children, and ministry; professional appearance and demeanor. Successful completion of required background checks, screenings, and Program Director training. First Aid and CPR certification; CDL or required transportation licensing, as applicable.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, approximately 25-35 hours per week based on program needs. Additional hours may occasionally be required to ensure safe staffing, program quality, and successful site operations.
