•We're looking for someone who has 5+ years of commercial construction project-management experience: —Healthcare construction experience is a big plus; experience working in hospitals or other active healthcare facilities. —Renovation or expansion projects. —Familiarity with infection-control requirements. —Experience coordinating complicated MEP systems. —Experience taking projects from preconstruction through closeout. —A solid understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and subcontractor management. —The ability to read drawings and specifications and understand what's happening in the field. —Experience working with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. —Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with issues head-on. —Good organizational and time-management skills. —The ability to juggle several priorities without losing track of the details. —A practical, common-sense approach to solving problems. —Working around patients, staff, and ongoing facility operations. —Experience with project phasing and shutdowns.
