Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Land Development Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of land development projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure that development initiatives align with strategic goals. Your expertise will drive efficient project execution, foster strong relationships, and deliver successful land development outcomes that support our organization's growth and community impact. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a tangible difference in the development landscape. Duties Lead the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards Collaborate closely with civil engineers, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project workflows Meet with jurisdictional officials during the installation and inspection of civil construction, infrastructure, home construction lots, landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation systems, signage, as well as parks and amenities Track and communicate key projected milestones to relevant internal departments (including city officials, engineering/utlity consultants, utility companies, contractors, etc) Review and interpret schematics, blueprints, contracts, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications Oversee construction site activities, monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure safety protocols are followed Manage project documentation including schematics, contracts, change orders, and progress reports Conduct construction estimating to accurately forecast costs and resource needs for land development initiatives Maintain effective communication with clients, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues promptly Oversee, review and approve field purchase orders Calculate quantities from construction plans for budgeting and bidding Develop contract scope of works and pay scales for bidding Ensures project schedule and critical path sequence in accurate and up to date, including identifying and reporting delays Ability to model and create budgets Skills Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and construction site management practices Proven ability in construction estimating and contract management within land development projects Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding civil engineering drawings Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on time management and meeting deadlines Deep understanding of construction processes including site preparation, grading, drainage, utilities installation and infrastructure development Ability to navigate regulatory requirements related to land use permits and environmental compliance Effective communicator capable of fostering collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Join us as a Land Development Manager if you're passionate about shaping communities through innovative land solutions. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
