The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field operations of assigned construction projects. This role provides on-site leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and quality standards. The Superintendent serves as the primary field representative and plays a critical role in maintaining client satisfaction and project success.

Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Field Management Oversee all on-site construction activities from project mobilization through closeout. Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel. Maintain a professional, organized, and productive jobsite. Foster a positive work environment that reflects values and culture. Serve as the primary on-site contact for owners, architects, consultants, and inspectors. Scheduling & Production Develop and manage short-term and long-term project schedules. Coordinate trade sequencing and material deliveries. Monitor project progress and proactively address potential delays. Conduct daily planning meetings and weekly coordination meetings. Ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule. Safety Management Enforce all OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and toolbox talks. Investigate and document incidents and near misses. Promote a safety-first culture among all project stakeholders.

Review work for compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes. Perform routine quality inspections throughout construction. Coordinate testing and inspections with appropriate agencies. Ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly. Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and professionalism. Documentation & Reporting Complete daily reports, progress logs, and manpower tracking. Document project conditions using photographs and field reports. Assist with RFIs, submittal reviews, and change order documentation. Maintain accurate project records and project correspondence. Client Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. Communicate project status effectively and professionally. Address concerns promptly and develop solutions that support project objectives. Represent with integrity and professionalism. Project Closeout Coordinate punch list completion and final inspections. Assist with commissioning, turnover, and owner training. Ensure project documentation is completed and submitted accurately. Support successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
