Overview

Job Summary Provide support and assistance to mental health service staff for patient care activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the transporting of patients to and from facility, meal provisions, supervision of patients during staff break periods, Assist patient group activities as requested. Provides support to patients for assistance with personal hygiene and daily living skills. Responsible for reportingmunicating to clinical staff any problematic or clinical issues observed while on duty. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  • Transports clients safely to and form home/IOP facility via van and in facility.
  • Completes documentation promptly.
  • Participates in keeping IOP area clean and maintained to enhance patient care.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience Required:

1 years of experience assisting in the care of mental health patients.

Minimum Education Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum Special Skills:

Ability to respond and interact appropriately to the unique needs of the geriatric population.

Licensure Description:

Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days of employment. Current Class R driving license with clean driving record.
