Assistant Site Manager (Bilingual Korean/English) P&P Staffing USA Austin, TX Job Details Temporary | Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications OSHA (regulatory compliance area) Interpretation English OSHA 10 Korean Attention to detail Translation Full Job Description We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and bilingual Assistant Site Manager to support daily on-site operations at the Samsung Austin Semiconductor site. This role will assist the Site Manager/Project Manager in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while also providing Korean-to-English and English-to-Korean translation support for communication between management, subcontractors, and field employees. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, construction/site coordination experience, and a focus on safety, communication, and quality control. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily construction/site operations Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and site regulations Provide Korean ↔ English translation and interpretation for meetings, training, and daily communication Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and material availability Enforce health and safety standards on-site Conduct site inductions, inspections, and risk assessments Perform quality control checks to ensure work meets project and company standards Help maintain project schedules and support budget control efforts Track and document project progress, incidents, and daily reports Communicate effectively with site personnel, management, clients, and subcontractors Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimize delays and disruptions Ensure cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the worksite Qualifications Bilingual in Korean and English (required) Previous experience in construction, site supervision, project coordination, or semiconductor/construction environments preferred Minimum OSHA 10 Certification required Strong understanding of construction safety standards and site operations Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project documentation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs Valid driver's license preferred
