Site Construction Manager, Advanced Manufacturing Tesla Motors, Inc. paid holidays, flex time, 401(k) United States, Texas, Brookshire Jul 29, 2026 What to Expect As Site Manager in the Greater Houston Area, you will own overall construction site execution from groundbreaking through manufacturing readinessfor one of the largest and most ambitious advanced manufacturing greenfield builds Tesla has undertaken.

You willbuild and lead a construction organization,set priorities, remove noise, and keepProjectManagers, Superintendents, and cross-functional partners locked on the critical path to factoryramp. This role demands a proven construction leader who has stood up mega-projects before, communicates with precision at the executive level, and leads from the field with extreme ownership. What You'll Do Own overall site construction execution with accountability for schedule, budget, safety, quality, and manufacturing readiness milestones Build, lead, and develop the site construction organization:

Construction Managers, Superintendents, and supporting leads,setting clear priorities and holding the team to uncompromising standards of execution Report site status, cost performance, schedule risk, and critical path exposure directly to Tesla senior executives with clarity, accuracy, and confidence Establish and maintain site-level controls for progress reporting, constraint management, change visibility, and recovery planning so leadership always sees the truth of the project Align Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Commissioning, and Operations around construction sequencing that protects tool install, utility readiness, and production ramp dates Drive contractor and vendor performance across a large multi-contractor site through structured accountability, decisive escalation, and relentless focus on the work that matters most Championa culture of safety, urgency, and priority discipline,eliminating distractions,focusingthe team, and ensuring every leader knows the mission and owns their outcome What You'll Bring 10+ years of experience leading major capital construction programs;manufacturing, semiconductor, solar, batteryexperience considered an asset Proven track record building and leading large construction organizations (Construction Managers, Superintendents, and support functions) on complex, fast-paced sites Demonstrated experience presenting schedule, cost, and site performance to C-suite / senior executive stakeholders with precision and credibility Deep expertise in project controls, integrated scheduling, contractor management, and recovery planning on large multi-discipline programs Exceptional leader and communicator whosetsprioritiesclearly,removes ambiguity, and keeps large teams focused under pressure Extreme ownership, high judgment, and relentless execution:you run theconstructionsiteknowingmanufacturing ramp depends on every decision Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program
