Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Lead to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader capable of managing multiple aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction management expertise, strong supervisory skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. This position offers an opportunity to lead dynamic teams and contribute significantly to the successful execution of complex construction initiatives. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction teams on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project schedules, and quality standards. Develop detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to coordinate resources effectively. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation during construction. Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, controlling expenditures, and preparing accurate estimates using Construction estimating tools. Oversee contract administration, including review and negotiation of contracts, change orders, and compliance with project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and progress tracking. Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid for project documentation, communication, and cost management. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery. Implement project scheduling strategies to optimize productivity while minimizing delays. Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, including daily reports, safety logs, and inspection reports. Identify potential risks or issues early on and develop mitigation strategies proactively. Experience Proven management experience in large-scale construction projects with a minimum of five years supervising teams on-site. Extensive knowledge of construction management practices, including budgeting, scheduling, blueprint reading, and quality assurance. Demonstrated proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard tools. Strong understanding of contracts law related to construction projects and experience in contract negotiation. Hands-on experience with construction site operations including safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards. Skilled in project scheduling techniques with a solid track record of delivering projects on time. Familiarity with pipeline projects or infrastructure development is advantageous. Ability to read schematics accurately using measurement tools like an ohmmeter or similar diagnostic instruments. Excellent supervisory skills combined with effective communication abilities across diverse teams.
