Mission Oversee day-to-day field construction activities for assigned commercial developments, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Bona Fide's quality and safety standards. Reports To Director of Construction / COO / CEO Core Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities across assigned commercial developments . Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to maintain project schedules and avoid construction delays. Oversee shell construction, site improvements, and tenant improvement (TI) build-outs. Maintain and update construction schedules while tracking progress across multiple workstreams. Conduct routine jobsite walks to monitor construction quality, safety compliance, and contractor performance. Identify and resolve construction issues prior to inspections, tenant turnover, or project milestones. Coordinate key construction inspections and ensure compliance with municipal regulations and permits. Maintain organized, safe, and clean jobsites consistent with OSHA and company safety practices. Monitor materials delivered to the jobsite to prevent damage, loss, or misuse. Track construction milestones and ensure delivery timelines are met for tenant occupancy. Coordinate closely with leasing and asset management teams regarding tenant delivery schedules. Provide regular progress updates including schedule status, contractor performance, and project risks. Operational Expectations Maintain consistent on-site presence during active construction phases. Open and secure jobsites daily during construction activity. Respond quickly to contractor coordination needs and construction issues. Provide occasional weekend availability when construction schedules require it. Maintain professional relationships with contractors, inspectors, consultants, and tenants. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Project Delivery Schedule Budget Variance vs Approved Construction Budget Tenant Improvement Delivery Timelines Contractor Performance and Reliability Jobsite Safety Compliance Construction Quality and Punch List Resolution Required Experience 2-3 years of experience supervising commercial or mixed-use construction projects. Experience managing shell construction and tenant improvement build-outs. Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and construction workstreams simultaneously. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, inspections, and permitting. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for daily jobsite visits. Based in the McAllen, TX area. Demonstrated track record of implementing construction best practices in a structured, process-driven development environment. Preferred Background Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. Experience working on commercial developments such as retail, flex space, or mixed-use properties. Familiarity with tenant delivery schedules and landlord construction coordination. Prior experience with established regional or national commercial developers or general contractors in South Texas or the Rio Grande Valley strongly preferred. Compensation Model (RGV Benchmark)
Base Salary:
$55,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and project oversight scope.Performance Bonus:
10-15% of base salary tied to schedule delivery, construction cycle times, and quality standards.Project Delivery Incentive:
Additional bonus tied to on-time project completion and milestone delivery.Vehicle Requirement:
Candidate must have a reliable personal vehicle for daily jobsite visits (mileage reimbursement or vehicle allowance may be provided).Benefits:

Deliver shell buildings and tenant spaces according to leasing and construction schedules. Maintain disciplined project schedules and control construction costs. Establish strong relationships with subcontractors and commercial construction partners. Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and municipal compliance standards. Coordinate effectively with leasing teams to ensure timely tenant occupancy.Pay:
