The Network Deployment Manager oversees telecommunications site and tower construction projects that support Rise Internet's wireless network upgrades. This role manages the network deployment team, both employees and contractors, working closely with the Sr. Director of Regional Operations and local engineers to plan projects and deliver completed builds on time, on budget, and to specification.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, schedule, and oversee multiple construction sites simultaneously, serving as the primary point of contact for issue resolution. Supervise and direct the network deployment team, including staffing, onboarding, training, delegation, and performance management. Develop build schedules and detailed project plans in coordination with the Regional Director and Engineering team. Inspect site work, cable, and electrical installations to confirm compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Direct and monitor rigger and tower-crew work, ensuring proper equipment, materials, and installation methods are used. Participate in the annual budget process; forecast staffing, equipment, and material needs, and monitor and approve expenditures. Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements across deployment projects. Maintain project activity logs, quality assurance metrics, and status reports for the management team. Communicate and coordinate with other departments on issues affecting operations, including outages and service disruptions. Ensure all deployment employees and contractors are properly trained and comply with Company, OSHA, and safety policies. Notify site owners and property managers of scheduled work; maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders. Support special projects and other duties assigned by the management team. Some evening, weekend, and travel work is required to meet project timelines.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises network deployment employees and contractors; builds and maintains the construction schedule for assigned projects.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five or more years of experience in telecommunications or wireless construction, including project and personnel management. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred. Working knowledge of networking, RF wireless technologies, and electrical codes and standards for communications cabling. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or comparable project management software. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for business travel. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of OSHA and Company safety standards applicable to field and tower construction. Ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This role splits time between an office setting and active construction sites, including travel throughout the Company's service footprint and to external locations. Site visits may involve exposure to adverse weather and require the ability to safely navigate active construction environments.DISCLAIMER
