Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This vital role requires a proactive leader who excels in managing teams, coordinating schedules, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring extensive construction site experience, strong management skills, and a thorough understanding of construction management software and regulations. Duties Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely project execution Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling tools to meet deadlines Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation on site Coordinate construction activities with project managers, engineers, and clients to align project goals and resolve issues promptly Enforce OSHA safety regulations and federal construction safety standards to maintain a zero-incident work environment Oversee quality control processes, conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and controlling expenditures using Construction management software such as ProCore or Prolog Supervise site safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and progress updates Review construction drawings regularly for accuracy and coordinate schedule updates to optimize workflow Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a track record of supervising large teams on complex projects Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid or similar tools Extensive experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and interpreting engineering specifications Skilled in project scheduling, budget management, contract review, and quality assurance processes Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across multiple disciplines Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high safety standards and quality control Valid experience with managing construction site logistics including pipeline coordination when applicable Familiarity with construction safety equipment testing tools like Ohmmeter is preferred Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-hour training or equivalent are highly desirable Join our team to lead impactful projects that shape communities!
