Full Job Description Job Summary:
Headwaters Construction Company is looking for an experienced and motivated Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This position is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and successfully. The Superintendent works closely with Project Managers, project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver high-quality projects while maintaining a safe and productive jobsite.

Competitive Salary Vehicle Allowance Bonus Opportunities PTO Paid Holidays Paid Sick Leave and Bereavement 401(K) Match Medical, Dental, Vision Life Insurance Short and Long-Term Disability Empowering and positive workplace culture Opportunity to make a real impact What you need: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred 4+ years of commercial construction field experience with leadership responsibility Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and jobsite logistics Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills OSHA 30 Construction certification preferred Experience with construction scheduling and field reporting software preferred Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed Ability to safely access and navigate active construction sites while wearing required
PPE Responsibilities:
Lead daily field operations for commercial construction projects from mobilization through closeout Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries to maintain project schedules Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules and manage daily project sequencing Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements Maintain and enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance on all jobsite activities Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, identify issues, and resolve field challenges proactively Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate project expectations Coordinate inspections, maintain daily reports, site logs, and project documentation Partner with Project Managers to support project planning, scheduling, and successful execution Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, final inspections, and project turnover Performs other duties as assigned This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
