Join Our Team as a Program Manager at Danville Services! Are you an experienced leader with a passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? Danville Services is looking for a dedicated Program Manager to lead our Direct Support team, oversee daily program operations, and foster a positive, empowering environment for both staff and the individuals we serve. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with your team, combining hands-on direct support with staff supervision, administrative management, and community integration. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Direct Support Supervise, mentor, and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to promote high morale, retention, and quality care. Provide exemplary hands-on direct support alongside your team to maintain safe ratio levels and foster positive relationships. Actively recruit, interview, and onboard new team members. Monitor staffing schedules, manage vacancies, and oversee payroll and overtime. Program & Administrative Operations Oversee program compliance, regulatory documentation, state/federal deadlines, and safety checklists (including fire and disaster drills). Manage program budgets, direct support logs, and routine maintenance requests for homes and vehicles. Handle emergency calls outside of regular shifts and respond appropriately when crisis management is needed. Client Satisfaction & Financial Oversight Support medical, health, and medication tracking needs for supported individuals. Manage client funds, bank accounts, and personal allowance ledgers in accordance with Person-Centered Plans and company security protocols. Coordinate weekly activity schedules, meal planning, and grocery shopping.
Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, plus at least 1 year of direct support experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or in a related field.
Age & Driver Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license, an insurable driving record (minimum 3 years of driving experience), and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
Background Check:
Must pass an initial background check upon hire and annually thereafter.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, assist with client transfers (up to 250 lbs using proper body mechanics or mechanical lifts), and perform physical tasks (bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing wheelchairs).
Communication:
Basic fluency in written and spoken English, basic keyboarding/computer skills, and basic math skills. Certifications (Preferred): First Aid / CPR certified and SOAR trained (or willing to complete upon hire).
Work Environment & Expectations Setting:
Work takes place across home-like and office environments.
Travel:
Local travel required using personal and company vehicles (including passenger vans). Occasional overnight or out-of-state travel may be required.
Flexibility:
