$80,000
  • $105,000 per year HD Build is a growing commercial subcontractor specializing in metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and related interior scopes.
We partner with strong general contractors on commercial, retail, and institutional projects across Utah and occasionally out of state. We are looking for a Project Manager who is organized, proactive, and confident managing projects from kickoff through closeout while working closely with our superintendents, foremen, and GC partners. This role requires ownership, strong communication, and a steady, team-oriented approach. What This Role Looks Like As a Project Manager at HD Build, you will: Manage multiple commercial projects from award through closeout Maintain strong, professional relationships with GC Project Managers Coordinate closely with superintendents and foremen to keep jobs running efficiently Oversee budgets, schedules, manpower planning, and profitability Ensure communication flows clearly between field and office You will primarily interface with GC Project Managers, while our superintendents handle day-to-day field coordination with GC supers. We value clear communication, steady leadership, and a collaborative mindset. Our PMs set the tone for professionalism on every project. Key Responsibilities Review contracts, scopes, drawings, and specifications Lead project setup, including schedules, submittals, RFIs, and procurement Track budgets, labor production, material costs, and change orders Coordinate manpower planning with superintendents and foremen Maintain accurate project documentation (daily reports, photos, logs) Support billing, change order pricing, and collections as needed Participate in internal planning meetings and forecasting Contribute to improving systems and standards as the company grows What We're Looking For 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction Strong understanding of drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, or interior scopes Organized and comfortable managing multiple projects at once Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work well with field leadership and office staff Positive, solutions-oriented mindset Comfortable using construction software and digital tools Spanish/English bilingual is a plus (not required) We are building a team that values accountability, professionalism, and strong teamwork.
