CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Location:

Arlington, VA (ON-SITE) Contract - 1099 Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead multiple high-profile and complex projects. This is a critical leadership role for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in renovation, build-out, restoration, and construction — someone who drives quality workmanship while keeping projects on time and teams aligned.

Core Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and direct all phases of construction activity across multiple concurrent projects Coordinate and supervise all trade subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship is achieved on time and within scope Assess, communicate, and resolve daily jobsite issues with speed and professionalism Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability at every level of the project team Maintain project documentation, schedules, and compliance with safety and building standards

Requirements:

Experience 7+ years in construction supervision Project scale Commercial & residential projects exceeding $3M Project types Multi-project, high-profile environments Nice to have Experience with public sector or government-funded construction projects is a significant plus.

SALARY:
