Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Commercial Electrical Senior Superintendent to lead and oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that all electrical work aligns with project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive management style, exceptional technical expertise, and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget. As an Electrical Senior Superintendent, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors, driving project success through effective leadership and technical excellence while in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Candidates must have direct experience serving as an Electtrical Superintendent (or equivalent leadership role) overseeing commercial electrical construction projects. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive field leadership for all electrical construction activities Manage and direct day-to-day operations of electrical crews and field personnel Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure seamless execution Ensure all work complies with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety regulations Plan and maintain project schedules, including workforce allocation and material coordination Interpret and enforce project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards Identify and resolve field conflicts, delays, and technical issues efficiently Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety programs at all times Lead jobsite safety meetings and promote a culture of safety and accountability Maintain detailed daily reports, progress logs, and documentation Mentor, train, and develop foremen and electrical personnel Required Qualifications Minimum of 10+ years of electrical construction experience in the field Mandatory experience serving in a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or equivalent electrical leadership role Proven track record managing commercial electrical construction projects Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems, installation methods, and industry best practices Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain) Active Electrical License (Journeyman or Master preferred) Experience with large-scale commercial or institutional projects (e.g., healthcare, education, industrial) Familiarity with construction scheduling and project management software Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company contribution Career advancement opportunities Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Aflac Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP Company)
