Job Description

Base salary: $50,000 Quarterly bonus: up to $1,000 per quarter.
Annual max bonus:
$4,000 Take-home company vehicle: included Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Deck Field Manager to lead our deck operations and ensure the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. In this vital role, you will oversee daily deck activities, coordinate with team members and contractors, and implement best practices to optimize project execution. Your energetic leadership will drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of safety and teamwork across the field operations. Duties Be present on the first day of installation to review project expectations, site conditions, and job-specific instructions with the crew before work begins. Communicate any important customer concerns, site sensitivities, or property protection needs to the crew before and during construction, including items such as landscaping, planters, lawn areas, access points, driveways, and other customer-specific concerns. Verify the project is ready to begin before installation starts, including confirming site readiness, material availability, and any important field conditions that may impact production. Perform regular jobsite visits throughout production to monitor progress, workmanship, jobsite conditions, and schedule adherence. Provide field oversight to help ensure each deck project is built according to company standards, approved scope, and quality expectations. Monitor workmanship and perform quality control throughout construction to identify issues early and maintain production standards. Address customer questions and concerns during the production phase and coordinate follow-through with the appropriate team members as needed. Coordinate with the Deck Project Liaison regarding customer concerns, communication needs, and project updates during production. Assist with material delivery coordination to help ensure crews have the materials needed to keep production moving. Coordinate inventory returns and schedule material pickups with ABC Supply or other vendors as needed. Identify and communicate field issues, delays, damaged materials, missing materials, or change conditions promptly to the appropriate internal team members. Help maintain jobsite cleanliness, professionalism, and safe working conditions throughout the project. Monitor production progress and help ensure jobs stay on schedule, communicating delays or production concerns as early as possible. Support subcontractor and crew accountability by reinforcing expectations for workmanship, jobsite conduct, and project execution. Support punch list completion and help ensure all final corrections are completed properly and in a timely manner. Conduct or assist with final walkthroughs to confirm project completion, quality standards, and customer satisfaction from the field side. Document field updates, job progress, jobsite issues, and completion notes in AccuLynx or the company's project management system as required. Help ensure each project is ready for closeout by confirming field completion items and communicating any remaining issues that need resolution. Skills Proven experience in deck construction or related field management roles with a strong understanding of construction processes Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration Strong knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and best practices in construction site management Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for record-keeping and reporting Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and adapt to changing project needs Valid driver's license; relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-hour or equivalent are a plus Join us in delivering outstanding results through energetic leadership, meticulous planning, and unwavering commitment to safety.
