Job Description

Position Summary S-Works Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead new-build and active data center construction projects, based onsite in Gainesville, VA. This role owns project execution end to end - schedule, budget, subcontractor performance, safety, and client relationships - and leads a project team of two Associate Project Managers and one Project Engineer. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of new-build and active mission-critical data center construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout Lead and mentor a project team of two Associate Project Managers and one Project Engineer Coordinate with owners, design teams, and commissioning agents on mission-critical systems, including electrical, mechanical, generator/UPS, and cooling infrastructure Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts Manage subcontractor bidding, buyout, and ongoing performance Oversee the submittal, RFI, and change order processes Ensure jobsite compliance with S-Works safety standards and OSHA requirements Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and owner relationships throughout construction Coordinate quality control and commissioning activities specific to mission-critical systems Manage project closeout, including punch list completion, commissioning turnover, and as-built documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience 7-10+ years of construction project management experience, with direct experience on data center or other mission-critical construction projects required OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project required Strong working knowledge of MEP systems coordination in mission-critical environments Proven ability to lead project teams and manage multiple concurrent workstreams Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing client and owner relationships
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
