About the Role This opportunity is ideal for an Assistant Project Manager who is ready to make the move into a Project Manager position within the first few months of joining the business. The company is specifically seeking someone who has a solid foundation in construction project management and is looking for an environment that will accelerate their development and career progression. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and company leadership, you will gain exposure to all phases of project delivery while taking on increasing responsibility from day one. The successful candidate will support the management of commercial interior, government, secure facility, and tenant improvement projects from pre-construction through closeout, with the expectation of progressing into a Project Manager role as performance milestones are achieved. Key Responsibilities Assist with the management of construction projects from award through completion Support budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and cost control activities Process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle Assist with contract administration and procurement activities Monitor project progress and help resolve construction-related issues Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project teams Support project closeout activities, punch lists, and turnover documentation Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget Maintain accurate project records and reporting documentation Qualifications 2+ years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar position Experience with commercial interiors, tenant improvements, government, institutional, or secure facility projects is preferred Strong understanding of construction processes and project documentation Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software Demonstrated ambition to progress into a Project Manager role Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Performance bonus opportunity of $10,000 - $30,000 Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Vehicle allowance Minimum of 3 weeks PTO Fast-track progression into a Project Manager position Direct mentorship from senior leadership Opportunity to play a key role within a growing contractor Long-term career growth with a strong pipeline of work INDH
