Design Construction Manager Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Construction Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of project and program coordination and completion. This role involves managing project execution from design development through construction administration while optimizing project management platforms. Responsibilities Coordinate and complete projects/programs, overseeing all aspects. Manage project execution including design development and construction administration. Implement and optimize project management platforms such as Smartsheet and Procore. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project/program progress. Prepare reports for upper management regarding project/program status. Lead and direct the work of others, applying extensive experience and judgment to achieve goals. Expect a wide degree of creativity and latitude in tasks. Essential Skills Expertise in Project Design and Construction Lifecycle Management. Proficiency in Team Management and Coordination, including directing cross-functional teams and stakeholder management. Technical proficiency with project management tools like Smartsheet and Procore. Additional Skills & Qualifications Quantifiable project success metrics in design development, construction administration, and project close-out. Demonstrated experience with multiple project management platforms. Advanced construction administration experience. History of progressive responsibility in project management and coordination. Experience in strategic decision-making at the organizational level. Evidence of team development and mentoring capabilities. Experience in project reporting to direct managers and leadership. Work Environment This position requires working 100% onsite in Virginia, providing a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role involves engagement with various technologies and platforms essential for successful project delivery. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Herndon, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
