Job Description Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a Sr. Schedule Controls Manager for AMER Construction Programs to ensure the precise execution and timely delivery of our construction projects across the Americas. This role involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with AWS's bold operational objectives and standards. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in construction project management, specializing in scheduling and financial control, coupled with a sharp analytical acumen and a proactive management style. Responsibilities Develop, manage, and optimize the master project schedules for construction initiatives across the AMER region. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and external contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of projects. Implement robust scheduling strategies and tools to monitor project progress and address potential delays or cost overruns. Prepare detailed reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting project status, risks, and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to streamline cost control processes and ensure project deliverables are within budget. Lead cross-functional meetings to review project status and facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Advocate for and implement best practices in project management within the organization. Required Skills Strong proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
