Job Description

This position will report to the Corporate PSM Manager. In general, the Site Refrigeration PSM Coordinator is responsible for maintaining compliance of the site Process Safety Management (PSM) program and portions of the Risk Management Plan (RMP) that overlap PSM in relation to Anhydrous Ammonia at the assigned site. This person must have a strong desire to drive for accuracy and thoroughness. This person must be able to interact with Utilities/Refrigeration Technicians, Management (Project, Facilities, Sanitation, QA, and Finance), and Vendors. This person must have strong practical and technical skills and be able to communicate the PSM requirements to members of the staff and outside contractors and hold them accountable to the PSM requirements. This position requires basic knowledge of critical path workflows. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support compliance of general PSM elements Work with eAM admins on inspection schedules, reports, and recommendations Support contractors' adherence to BH specifications of PSM elements Serve on Compliance Audit and PHA teams as assigned Assist scheduling and carrying out 5-year Mechanical Integrity inspections by outside agencies MOC support for requirement reviews and corporate approvals Be the site's focal point assistant for emergent MOCs Work with EHS on overlapping elements of RMP and associated OSHA elements Work with Project Engineering to ensure scope of project PSM items is adequate PSSR final inspection participation Work with eAM admins to collect KPI and metrics specific to PSM Support local plants' refrigeration SMEs and their contractors in MOC, CA, PHA, and MI completion Work with supervisor identifying risks in local department staffing Assist Utility Supervisors with life cycle planning of PSM covered process equipment Subject Matter Expert for Refrigeration (APSM, IIAR, RETA, 29 CFR 1910.119, 40 CFR 68) Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent 5 years technical support experience PSMP achievement within 3-years of hire Proficient with MS Office Good general computer skills Bilingual a plus (Holland) Additional Responsibilities Attend industry conferences (IIAR, RETA) Backup refrigeration technicians in emergent conditions Assist Facility Manager in creating and tracking energy reduction plans that pertain to the department Assist planners in creating work plans for PSM covered corrective work Responsible for some confidential and time sensitive materials Language Skills Successful candidate must be fluent in the English language and have excellent written and oral skills. Holland Site Coordinator should be bi-lingual Mathematical Skills Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Excel basic formula Reasoning Ability This position requires the ability to work as part of a team, exercise good judgment, and be proactive. The candidate must also maintain confidentiality to ensure that the integrity of the department and company are not jeopardized. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations CIRO or RETA work a plus
