The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing project teams, coordinating schedules, overseeing budgets, and maintaining clear communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project success. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate construction timelines effectively. Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, preparing estimates using Construction estimating tools, and implementing cost control measures. Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless project execution. Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or HeavyBid for project documentation, tracking progress, and reporting. Read and interpret construction plans and schematics accurately to guide on-site activities. Manage contracts with clients and subcontractors while overseeing change orders and contractual obligations. Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure quality standards are met while managing teams in a construction management role. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and resolve issues promptly. Implement effective project scheduling techniques to optimize resource allocation and minimize delays. Facilitate communication among all project stakeholders through detailed reports and meetings. Ensure proper documentation of all project phases for audit readiness and future reference. Requirements Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong track record of success. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies applicable across various regions. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and cost management strategies. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams effectively within a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization. Familiarity with civil 3D or similar civil engineering design software is advantageous. Strong communication skills for clear coordination among diverse stakeholders. Ability to interpret contracts accurately while ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Prior experience in managing complex infrastructure projects within the heavy civil or commercial sectors is preferred. Have experience with underground construction.
