Job Description Job description: Manage commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, and project stakeholders. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor coordination. Monitor labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project costs to ensure profitability. Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation. Coordinate with field operations, fabrication, commissioning, and service teams. Lead project meetings and provide regular financial and progress reporting. Oversee startup, commissioning, owner training, warranty turnover, and final project closeout. Ensure projects are completed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Qualifications:
710+ years of Project Management experience in mechanical construction. Experience managing commercial mechanical projects valued between $8M$12M. Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems. Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and change orders. Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Experience with Timberline (Sage 300 CRE) is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Experience with large mechanical contractors ($50M+ annual revenue preferred).
