Position Overview As a Project Manager, you will support JLL's owner's representative services on a large scale, long-duration federal development program in the Virginia Beach area. You will work alongside a Senior Project Manager and program leadership to support vendor management, cost and schedule management, and coordinate with client stakeholders. What your day-to-day will look like Support owner's representative services on renovation and ground-up multi-family construction. Assist with vendor management, monitoring performance against contract, schedule, and budget. Review change orders, RFIs, and submittals in coordination with the broader project team. Prepare project financial and progress reporting for JLL leadership and client stakeholders. Support senior team members in preparing client-facing materials and briefings. Escalate risks and issues promptly with clear options and recommendations. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 4 to 6 years of construction project management experience, including ground-up construction. Direct NAVFAC project experience or comparable Department of Defense construction experience. Multi-family residential construction experience, ideally in a developer or owner's representative capacity. Experience reviewing and processing change orders on active construction projects. Comfort interacting with military and government stakeholders in a professional capacity. Willingness to work onsite in the Hampton Roads area five days per week. Preferred qualifications PMP certification. Prior experience managing vendors on a large program. Familiarity with Public-Private Venture (PPV) military housing programs or student housing privatization initiatives. DoD SkillBridge or Military Transition Program (MTP) participants with relevant construction project management experience are encouraged to apply. JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.
