Job Requirements Norfolk, VA Top Secret Polygraph not specified Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) $150,000 - $165,000 Job Description Novacoast Federal is seeking a Symantec Security Engineer/ Subject Matter expert with a Top-Secret level clearance to act as an onsite Symantec Resident engineer on a military/ government facility. The support for this effort from a security product perspective is in two areas, deployment support and security policy support.
  • Deployment support for the Broadcom resident will consist of deploying multiple Symantec products to Windows Server 2019 where previously installed on Windows Server 2008 R2.
  • Security policy support will consist of tuning Symantec Data Center Security (SDCS) policies for these new systems and maintenance of these policies over the course of the project.
Additional responsibilities:
  • Assist with support and deployment of other Symantec security solutions such as Endpoint Protection (SEP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), proxies and Encryption
  • Drive best practices for security incident response and remediation The right candidate must have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Symantec product deployment and management experience
  • Prior experience Deploying multiple Symantec products including Data Center Security, Endpoint protection, and Data Loss Prevention.
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Security, including: Incident Response and Remediation, Forensic Analysis, Cloud security posture, and security tools such as Carbon Black, Nessus, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, and Wiz are a huge plus
  • Experience working in high security environments
  • Active Top-Secret level Security clearance This is a long-term, multi-year contract position with a pay range of 150-165K annually.
