Job Description The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Richmond will: Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from kickoff through completion. Support project teams with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project documentation. Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved. Track project progress and proactively identify and resolve potential issues. Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership. Manage project records, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contract documentation. Help maintain compliance with company safety standards and project requirements. Work closely with experienced Project Managers and operational leaders to develop leadership skills. Support mission-critical commercial construction projects with long-term regional impact. Contribute to the expansion and growth of the Virginia operation, creating future leadership opportunities. The Successful Applicant The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Richmond will have: 0-2 years of experience in construction, project coordination, engineering, or a related field. Commercial construction experience is preferred but not required. Concrete, data center, or mission-critical experience is not necessary. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction software is a plus. Must be located near South Hill, VA or willing to relocate. Desire to build a long-term career with significant advancement opportunities. Base Salary:
$60,000 - $70,000
Annual Bonus:
Approximately $5,000 Comprehensive Benefits Package
