Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman specializing in Underground Utilities to lead and oversee construction projects focused on underground infrastructure. This role is vital in ensuring that utility installation, maintenance, and repair projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Foreman / Underground Utilities, you will coordinate field crews, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity. Duties Foreman will supervise daily operations on underground utility construction sites, including pipeline installation and maintenance activities. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. The Foreman will read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide installation processes accurately. Utilize construction management software HeavyJob to monitor schedules, track progress, and use or delivery of materials daily. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards (OSHA), specifications, and industry best practices. Supervise team members' performance, provide training on construction site procedures, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements Proven experience in underground utility construction or related heavy civil projects with a strong background in underground utilities installation. Supervising experience managing field crews in a fast-paced construction environment. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction schematics related to underground utilities. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards specific to underground utility work and construction site safety protocols. Excellent management skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of quality control. Construction site experience demonstrating proficiency in managing complex projects from planning through completion.
Pay:
From $1,500.00 per week
