Job Description

Job Description SQUAN is seeking a Construction Manager to lead wireless and fiber infrastructure projects within our Telecommunications & Media portfolio. In this role, you will oversee field construction activities from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage materials, review drawings, and interface with carrier, ISP, and utility clients. The Construction Manager drives site readiness, enforces safety standards, tracks project costs, and mentors field teams, supporting the delivery of next-generation 5G and fiber networks. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day management of wireless and fiber construction projects from pre-construction through closeout Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet schedule and quality requirements Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies Review construction drawings, SOWs, and specifications and resolve field issues Track project progress, costs, and materials; report status to project management and clients Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and punch list completion Interface with carrier, ISP, and utility clients to support project delivery Mentor and support field teams to drive performance, safety, and accountability Required Skills Telecommunications construction management Wireless site development Fiber outside plant (OSP) construction Project scheduling and coordination Budgeting and cost control Construction safety (OSHA) compliance Reading and interpreting construction drawings Subcontractor and vendor management Quality control and site inspections Telecom project management software (e.g., Procore)
