SENIOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
Luxury Custom Homes | High-End Residential Construction Full-Time | Field Leadership | Immediate Need A highly respected custom residential construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to join its team. This is a confidential search for a hands-on construction leader with a strong background in high-end custom homes and complex residential construction. This is NOT a production-home Superintendent position. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, understands the details of luxury construction, and can independently lead projects from preconstruction through completion.POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on high-end custom residential projects while working closely with ownership, project management, architects, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily field operations for high-end custom homes and residential projects
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners
- Coordinate schedules, sequencing, manpower, materials, deliveries, and inspections
- Review plans and specifications and identify potential conflicts
- Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays
- Coordinate with owners, architects, designers, project managers, and clients
- Maintain exceptional quality-control and craftsmanship standards
- Conduct regular site walks and inspections
- Manage RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and project documentation
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsites
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and milestones
- Hold subcontractors accountable while maintaining strong professional relationships
- Take ownership of projects from groundbreaking through final completion
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of Superintendent or construction field leadership experience
- Significant high-end residential or custom-home construction experience
- Proven ability to independently manage complex residential projects
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, and building systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong scheduling, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, designers, and ownership
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans
- Strong subcontractor and trade-partner management skills
- Proficient with construction management technology
- Professional, dependable, hands-on leadership style
