About Satin & Spur Satin & Spur is a vintage western boutique located at Bayview Center Plaza in Langley, WA. We curate authentic vintage and western-inspired clothing, boots, and accessories for men and women who love thrifting, western style, and one-of-a-kind pieces. We're a small, independent boutique, and every team member plays a real role in the customer experience. Position Overview We're looking for a dependable, personable Sales Associate to join us part-time. This person will be the face of the store during their shifts, helping customers find pieces they love while keeping the shop running smoothly. Schedule Fridays and Saturdays, 11am-5pm. Compensation $17.13/hour Responsibilities Greet and assist customers, offering genuine, knowledgeable service Operate the Shopify point-of-sale system for sales transactions Process returns and exchanges according to store policy Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised sales floor Restock and straighten inventory throughout shifts Answer customer questions about sizing, era, condition, and care of vintage pieces Open or close the store independently as a solo keyholder, including basic cash handling and end-of-day procedures Represent the Satin & Spur brand and voice in every customer interaction Qualifications Prior retail or customer service experience (required) Comfortable working independently and managing the storefront solo Genuine interest in western style, vintage fashion, and thrifting culture Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic comfort with point-of-sale technology (training provided) Must be 18 or older Must be able to pass a background check Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs (moving inventory, boxes, fixtures) What We're Looking For Someone who treats customers the way they'd want to be treated in their own favorite boutique, warm, unhurried, and genuinely helpful. Knowledge of vintage clothing (denim eras, western boot brands, cowboy hats, etc.) is a strong plus but not required if you're eager to learn.
