You will take complete field ownership of a landmark 280-unit ground-up apartment development near downtown Spokane. This high-profile role position allows you to drive project delivery from site mobilization to final turnover while shaping the urban landscape. You will build a lasting legacy with a rapidly growing general contractor that empowers its field leaders. How You Will Make an
Impact:
Direct all daily field operations and site logistics for a 280-unit multifamily development. Master early schedule execution by developing look-ahead plans and maintaining master construction timelines. Drive subcontractor performance and site safety standards to ensure strict compliance with project specifications. Resolve technical constructability challenges early alongside project managers, architects, and engineering partners. Conduct comprehensive site walks, safety meetings, and quality-control inspections to enforce high standards. Mentor assistant superintendents and field engineers to cultivate top-tier field management talent. Oversee final commissioning, turnover operations, and punch-list completions to ensure smooth client handoff.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of construction superintendent experience leading large ground-up multifamily developments. Proven record of managing multi-level apartment projects exceeding 200 units from mobilization through turnover. Deep technical knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and building envelope systems. Demonstrated mastery in building schedules, reading blueprints, and managing large subcontractor teams. Hands-on proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and OSHA safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field. Local market experience and established relationships with sub-trades and inspectors around Spokane, WA.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $145,000 based on experience.
