Job Description
Overview Interim - Approximately 1 month, with strong potential for a permanent position We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our team at a manufactured home facility in Wisconsin. This position will initially be an interim assignment for approximately one month, starting September 29th. There is a good possibility that the person who is in this role will have the opportunity to remain in the position on a permanent basis, depending on performance and business needs. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily production, managing the production team, and making sure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a good understanding of both production and construction processes. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production operations and workflow.
- Supervise production employees and coordinate daily assignments.
- Make sure production goals and schedules are being met.
- Monitor quality and address production issues as they come up.
- Organize manpower and resources based on production needs.
- Work with supervisors and management to keep production running efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Identify areas where production, workflow, or processes can be improved.
- Communicate clearly with employees and management regarding production needs or concerns. What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in manufacturing and production.
- Construction experience, preferably residential, modular, manufactured, or mobile home construction.
- Previous experience managing or supervising a production team.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Someone who is dependable, hands-on, and comfortable making decisions in a production environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
