07/17/2026 8:00 AM The Village of Sussex is looking to add Site Supervisors to our team. Site Supervisors work a flexible schedule, primarily on the weekends, and are able to select which events they would like to work. This position offers an extremely flexible schedule for those looking to make some extra money but aren't able to commit to a set schedule or specific number of hours weekly. Site Supervisors are tasked with providing onsite support and excellent customer service to renters at the Civic Center and The Grove. The position assists renters with equipment needs, set-up questions, locating necessary items/supplies and some light cleaning activities. When not directly assisting a renter, the Site Supervisors may be assigned other work, such as cleaning, organizing, decorating, replenishing needed supplies and light snow removal with a shovel/salting during winter months. Cleaning responsibilities include the restrooms and public spaces throughout the building that may need to be cleaned because of the rental. Shifts become available when there is a rental scheduled at the Civic Center or The Grove. A Village employee will contact the list of Site Supervisors to offer shifts as needed. If the shift is mutually convenient for the employee and Village, the employee will sign up to work that day and time. There is no set schedule or minimum number of hours this position must work, but the hope is that each Site Supervisor will work at least one event per month.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or GED or a work permit for minors.

Pay and Benefits:

The hourly pay for this position is $15.00.
