Job Description

Position Profile:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified talent across corporate, technical, and manufacturing departments at The Prestwick Companies. This position drives full-lifecycle recruitment, builds talent pipelines, manages applicant tracking, and delivers a positive candidate experience that aligns with company culture and growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute full-cycle recruitment processes including candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, conducting interviews as needed, and partnering with leadership to extend job offers. Partner with hiring managers to clarify department needs, define candidate profiles, and establish hiring expectations. Proactively source pipelines of candidates through job boards, social media, industry networking, and employee referral programs. Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring regular updates on candidate stages and key hiring metrics. Ensure all job postings and the hiring processes are compliant with the company's Affirmative Action Plan (AAP). Represent the company at community job fairs, college recruitment events, and local trade shows to expand brand awareness. Engage in continuous improvement of interview guides, employer branding initiatives, and recruitment strategy.

What Success Looks Like:

Efficiently filling open requisitions with high-quality candidates who align with company values, maintaining low time-to-fill metrics, and creating a seamless, transparent experience for both candidates and internal hiring managers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and recruitment experience). 2 to 5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, ideally within a corporate or manufacturing/operations environment. Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job search platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal relationship-building capabilities. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously. High degree of discretion, professional judgment, and confidentiality.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Frequently required to talk, hear, sit, twist, use hands/fingers to push, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently walk onto the manufacturing floor and wear PPE as required. Position operates primarily in an office setting with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception. Travel as required for business needs and recruitment events.

•This role is benefit-eligible; approximately 30 hours per week. The hourly rate varies depending on relative experience.
