Entry Level / Recent Graduate Job Summary We are seeking a Field Engineer to join a team working on large-scale commercial construction projects. This is an entry-level field management opportunity designed for a recent graduate looking to build a long-term career in construction operations. You'll work directly with Superintendents and project leadership while gaining hands-on experience with project layout, trade coordination, quality control, safety, plan interpretation, VDC/BIM, material management, and field supervision . The majority of your time will be spent on the active construction site rather than behind a desk. Responsibilities Perform project layout and surveying based on construction drawings Check concrete forms and embedded items prior to concrete placement Assist with jobsite quality control and safety Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and trade partners Assist Foremen and field teams with interpreting plans and specifications Track quantities and production for scheduling and cost-control reporting Coordinate material deliveries and inspect materials for quantity, quality, and condition Participate in jobsite safety meetings and weekly safety audits Work with VDC teams and navigate 3D construction models Gain hands-on supervisory experience directing assigned field personnel and trade partners Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management Recent graduates are encouraged to apply Construction internship experience is preferred but not required Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Comfortable working primarily in an active jobsite environment Valid driver's license Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel Exposure to Prolog, Primavera, Autodesk, BIM, or VDC is a plus Willingness to travel based on project assignments What We're Looking For This is a strong opportunity for someone who has the construction-related degree but doesn't necessarily have years of experience yet .
